Seth Stein began his architectural career in the offices of Richard Rogers and Norman Foster before establishing Seth Stein Architects in 1990. SSA have completed projects worldwide including the UK, Europe, Australia, North America, Africa and the Caribbean.
One-off houses have been completed in coastal locations such as Finland, South Africa, the Turks & Caicos Islands and Cornwall, as well as urban settings including Toronto, Vicenza and throughout central London. Non-residential projects include art galleries in London and Geneva, offices, restaurants, fashion stores and an equestrian centre.

Australian Institute of Architects Sir Osborn McCutcheon award for commercial architecture as well as receiving a professional award commendation in the American Institute of Architects UK Excellence in Design Awards in 2015.
Other award winning projects include the House in Cornwall (RIBA 2009 Awards), the House in Somerset (shortlisted for the RIBA 2014 Awards), the Novo Cemetery, located on the East London campus of Queen Mary University in London (shortlisted for the RIBA 2014 Awards and also granted a Grade II listing by English Heritage) and Creek House, Cornwall (winner of 2022 RIBA South West Regional Award and 2022 RIBA National Award).
Current projects on site include a new build house in Lagos, Nigeria and a new build country house south of Melbourne.
